New Kids Shops Worth Checking Out.

So, there are a few relatively new kidcentric stores in the neighborhood for all you parents, grandparents or people who get invited to kid's birthday parties.  We can tell you right off the bat, all of these stores are kind of pricey, although you may get lucky with a sale here or there.  We recently lost a shoe store called Peek-a-boo shoes but gained Running Wild on Court Street and Area Kicks and Cuts on Smith (pictured above).  Kicks and Cuts is, as the name suggests, both a shoe store and hair cutting shop.  Picnic, a kids clothing and accessories boutique is also on the recent list.  It's a cute cozy store at 192 Amity.  If you're looking for a more affordable place, Cookie's in the Fulton mall is a fav among parents looking to save some bucks.  So, there's our run down, hope it helped!

Beastly Bite Moved and Soon Replaced.

We already new that pet store, Beastly Bite, in Cobble Hill, had moved across the street to 155 Court Street (seen below). But what we didn't know, and still don't exactly, is what's moving into the old space at 140 Court. The spot has only been vacant for less than a month now but it's prime real estate right there on Court near Atlantic and would imagine it will go quickly. We spoke with the owner and he wasn't 100% sure what was to become of the space but one of the likely options he said was a Swedish children's clothing store. I guess we'll just have to wait and see.
