Made in Gowanus Tour.

The first "Made in Gowanus Tour" will be kicking off this weekend.  Owner and producer, Dom Gervasi, has been giving his "Made in Brooklyn Tours" for a while now, focusing on different areas like Dumbo and Williamsburg.  You can add Gowanus to the list starting Saturday.  The groups he takes out are pretty small and it looks like this one is already sold out.  But don't worry, there will be more to come.  Just keep an eye on this website.

These guided walking tours around Brooklyn with a "made in Brooklyn" theme have been going on for quite a while now. Here's a little snip from their website.

This Saturday, October 8th at 1:20, will be a special Makin' History in Red Hook Tour, which includes an inside look at The Church of the Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary and is led by local historian John Burkard . Meet up is at the IKEA Ferry and the cost is $35.
