Saturday night, January 12th, is the 2013 Winter Festival, although the flyers around town mistakenly say 2012. It's a benefit for the Gowanus Canal Conservancy with proceeds on ticket prices (ranging from $10 for kids to $45 for membership plus admission) going towards "specifically assisting with its Clean & Green Volunteer Program, Composting and Rain Garden projects". The night will consist of dinner, drinks, and music. Read more about the event, including how to get tickets, below. Or for more info check out this
site.
