Mile End Owner Noah Bernamoff told grubstreet back in September that their production space would be moving to Red Hook and added that "in addition to using the space for production, we will have a small
retail store on the pier selling Mile End meats by the pound, loaves of
bread, and a selection of pickled vegetables and mustards. We hope the
residents and visitors to Red Hook can have an alternative to Fairway
for certain basic, yet high-quality pantry items, all of which will be
produced within the space." We were excited then and even more psyched now that the retail store should be opening soon. Last we heard it should be opening by the end of May or beginning of June. The kitchen is already set up and producing at Pier 41 now bring on the retail!
