Brooklyn Brainery Coworking.

The Prospect Heights location of Brooklyn Brainery, that's at 190 Underhill, is trying out this cool new thing during the daytime.  It's called coworking.  And basically for $12 you can use their space as your office, meaning you can use their wifi and tables the way you would at a coffee shop without completely annoying other guests and servers by setting up camp for hours on end.  It's expected here!  This concept just started yesterday so it may catch on quick.  Sign up here if you're interested.

Cool Brooklyn Brainery Event.

As most of us are welcoming 2013 some people around the world are surprised it even arrived.  At the Brooklyn Brainery event, Doomsday Cults, you can learn about a few of these end-of-the-world predicting extremists and how their visions of the apocalypse never really panned out.  If sounds like a good way to start your year (like if your New Year's resolution is "learn more stuff") then this one is for you.  It's Wednesday, January 9, from 6:30-8pm and $12.  You can sign up here.

May classes at the Brainery.

As we had done in March, Realty Collective is teaching 2 classes at the Brooklyn Brainery in May and are very excited to be back. Like the classes in March, though, the spots filled up very quickly and both classes are unfortunately full. 8( We do hope that they are able to expand their space and hold larger classes in the future. In the meantime, sign up for the wait list! Simply go on their website and check out the two courses we're offering, "How to Find the Perfect Rental" on May 2nd and "First Time Home Buying" on May 9th. We hope to see you there!

Realty Collective at The Brainery

Our classes went fast but you can still sign up for the wait list! We're sharing tips on "How to Find the Perfect Rental" on Thursday March 1st from 6:30-8pm and "First Time Home Buying" on March 15th from 6:30-8pm. Both classes are very reasonably priced, as the always are at The Brooklyn Brainery. The first is $12 total and the second is $15 total. A $3 "Save the Brainery" fee has already been tacked on to both classes. They are trying to expand their space in order to give everyone the opportunity to take these classes. They always fill up so quickly. Get on the waitlist for our classes! We're so excited to have the opportunity share our expertise!

Cider Week

It's cider week here in New York and several bars and restaurants throughout Brooklyn are participating. Here's a quick tutorial. The type of cider we're talking about here is not plain old spiced up apple juice, like the stuff you get when you go apple picking. And it's not beer. Cider actually means "fermented apple juice". There are lots of different varieties and flavors just like wine can be so different from one glass to the next. So try them all! For more info click here. Here are some cider week events in the neighborhood.

Here's an example of a treat you'll find mixed in with some ice cream while you're there.
