Touch-A-Truck this Weekend!

This is quite possible the coolest fundraiser we've ever heard of and even though it's a little out of our vicinity (South Slope) we had to share this because it looks worth the short subway or bus ride.  PS 295, which is on 18th Street between 6th and 7th avenues, is putting on "Touch-A-Truck".  It is exactly what it sounds like.  They'll have 25 vehicles that kids can climb in, including a school bus, garbage truck, ambulance and more! PS 58 Save the Date!

Saturday March, 24th will be the PS 58, AKA The Carroll School, PTA Spring Celebration and Auction. You can help out your neighborhood elementary school by coming out to The Invisible Dog Art Center from 6:30-10pm and participating in this silent auction. If you need more incentive then helping out adorable elementary school kids (geez, you need more incentive than that??) there will also be a cocktail reception. We aren't quite sure what to expect at this auction but we'll give you details as we hear them. If anyone out there has any more to share about this event please comment and let us all know!
