Twelfth Night in the Park.

Here's another event at Carroll Park.  This one is more for the grown-ups than the last but I'm sure older kid will enjoy it too.  Smith Street Stage brings you William Shakespeare's Twelfth Night at Carroll Park!  It begins on June 25th and will run until July 8th (this schedule excludes Wednesdays).  Shows start at 7pm and as most theater in the park, it's absolutely free.  Just bring your own chair if you want to sit down.  Definitely a fun free thing to do any day of the week and we'll be there to check it out during it's run.

MacBeth!

Shakespeare in the park is on it's way! We're not talking about Central Park though, it's coming to our neighborhood at Carroll Park! Last year the Smith Street Stage put up Romeo and Juliet and this year they'll be performing MacBeth. The acting and text will be the stars here since there will no costumes or set. With a small, talented cast and live music this should be a great event to come out for. Bring your own seating. Performances run from July 13-17th at 7pm and 19th-24th also at 7pm.
