New Year's Eve To Do

A lot of people, if not most, wait until last minute to make New Year's Eve plans.  Well, if you haven't made any plans yet but still want to go out maybe we can help.  Here are a few suggestions.

1. Hang out in Red Hook!  Because of Red Hook's limited transportation you can avoid tourists and huge crowds by hanging at one of the many awesome bars in the nieghborhood.  They are sure to have a good amount of people (pretty awesome people if you ask us) to mingle with without being suffocatingly crowded.

2. Brooklyn Buschenschank is having a champagne toast at midnight along with their normal menu, which is perfect for noshing on all night, and their awesome beer selection.  They are taking reservations but also are excepting walk-ins, so you may want to give them a shot.

3. MikNic Lounge is having a New Years Eve party.  We think this bar, located on Columbia Street, is the neighborhoods best kept secret.  It's a great space with great music but usually isn't too crowded.  It's a perfect place to go tonight to ring in the New Year.

We hope this helps! Have a wonderful and safe night!
