Film Shoot on Warren.

There will be a film shoot on Warren Street, near Clinton, today and tomorrow.  It's something called "The Affair" and the only thing we could find with that title that's in pre-production is a TV Movie.  The storyline is below for those curious.  Add this to the long list of films shot in our scenic hood!

Centers on Noah, a married father of four, who becomes involved with Allison, a married woman mourning the loss of her child, after a chance meeting at the beach.

Red Hook Flicks!

It's finally here.  Red Hook Flicks announced their line up weeks ago at Bait and Tackle but hadn't posted the schedule on their website until last week.  We'd been checking every once in a while to see if it was up and we're happy to share the schedule with you in case you haven't seen it already.  Click here!  It's a pretty awesome line up this year (Caddyshack!!) We can't wait to go watch under the stars!

Red Hook Film Fest This Weekend

The 5th annual Red Hook Film Festival will be happening this Saturday and Sunday October 15th and 16th at the BWAC screening room, 499 Van Brunt. Get there between 1pm and 6pm to enjoy this free event! They'll be showing shorts, most around 5 or 6 minutes long, with a mixture of documentary, experimental, narrative and fictional films. Cosmos, Well Not Exactly But...

For those seeking intelligence in more immediate locals, Imagine Science Film Festival and the Secret Science Club brings you the search for intelligent life through short films. Tonight at 7:30 the Bell House presents for your viewing pleasure: Naming Pluto, MEPE and the Exquisite Corpse of Science - among other fine shorts. Sure, it's no Cosmos but I'm sure you can submit your requests for next year.
