Lilla cafe, on Union Street between Hicks and Columbia, has finished it's menu, inside, and name changes and it's now Brooklyn Southern. We love this change. Although the old restaurant was good, we like having more affordable options in the neighborhood and mmmmmm, southern food. The menu is well-rounded with a pretty equal amount of veggie, meaty, and seafood meals. They have po boys, baskets, gumbos, and our favorite "breakfast all day", which consists of things like "fried chicken and waffle" and "biscuits and gravy". And again the menu does look decently priced. We hope this change works well for them!
